Since there was more time left I chose to explore further. The next idea that came to my head was the preparation of the appearance. I thought that making it into a close up and hiding the face again would help creating this question on identity but then after taking the shots I changed my direction.
While looking at the images you can find that at some points I tried to add the element of hate with and angry face. During the process this was quite hard to do tho. At this point I was still trying to express the exact same emotions from the past shots while displaying another part of the lifestyle of an extreme artist.
Looking back at the shots however, I found them to be quite emotional and I thought that this piece could be different. Especially because being an extreme artist didn't always mean to be always angry. I remembered how each of these artist during their video with Vogue on their makeup routine they claimed that it is something very dear to them to dress up this way because it's their art and it displays who they are.
This is the 3 images that I've chosen finally. I stopped trying to display the hate in this piece.
