Class reflection Week 2

During this week I’ve learnt that I’ve to understand the context, social and cultural aspects also. In relation to the demographic and psychographic like what the audience will do. What attract them in this specific area, their believes, interest and habits. Especially when it comes to buying and choices. The colors are also very import because in different countries different colors has different meaning. Since the economic affect design a lot it has to be something very accessible and appropriate. I’ve learnt that the history is also important cause culture changes abruptly and this I something to keep in mind. Along with the history there’s the political understanding which applies in certain occasion we also have to learn about how people interact in the location we are diving in like hand gestures among all of that.

There’s also some other aspect such as the texture and whatever aesthetic trend in the locality which will help in creating a product styling when we have to advertise a product most of the time.

To make a great design it has to be strong, loud and focus on the communities mostly. And the trending technology should also be taken into consideration.

I’ve really found these points useful because it can help me to further breakdown my concepts towards a specific audience since it’s one point that always pops up during my tutorials.

I also wanna research more on the interaction identity because I’ve never really taken that into consideration in the past.

Referring back to a YouTube video I watched about a small Russian country where the villagers had an interesting way to invite someone for a drink with a specific gesture. So, I really do find this point very interesting. Though the video is very unprofessional and silly in some occasion you do learn about the lifestyle of these people through this video which I found interesting.
