Here's all the final pieces for the Things project.

This first piece is a reinterpretation of the study done on the extreme scene. It depicts the rage and the way these artists question our identity or their own identity as humans.

This image was from the first batch of the images taken but it was modified using a textured brush so that it fits in with the other piece which has a very crisp and bold scratch of paint hiding the face of the character.

This is from the second batch of images. It's the image whereby a new technique was used for the scratch of paint over the photograph and the reason why the first image had to be modified. This batch tries to depict the lifestyle of such an artist, displaying the element of hate and identity even tho the protagonist is in different environments. Sort of strengthening their believes.

This part is from the 3rd batch, it began as a simple tryout but then it was conceptualized into the emotional side of this reinterpretation of the extreme scene. Upon studying these artist they all seem to share a similarity in their pleasure to dress up the way they do and walk around, since it's their way of expressing themselves and defining who they are.

It is therefore a close up black and white piece to illustrate the emotions behind their preparation routine.

Lastly, is the following which was again from the first batch but another experimental section of the first batch where a more abstract direction was taken. I realized that this piece can be used as a form of closure to this project since it illustrate the cleaning process. Over here the hate is again displayed. The element of extreme fashion can be seen with the black paint and the makeup above the sink.

This piece can also be interpreted as a reinforcement in these artists believes, showing that even tho they are not wearing their makeup they still keep their believes.

To wrap everything up an online gallery was made using Adobe XD.

You can try the following link to try the interface for yourself, but it won't be available for long however.

While making this project, I used the extreme scene as a study but my main focus at the end was to illustrate that hate and question mark on identity, so it's still open to interpretation and I would encourage you to look more into the concept behind it rather than trying to relate it back to extreme fashion. The message is the most important part of this work.
