We had speeches on 3D design before but this time we learnt how to make a 3D design by ourselves.

Well, I've already explored 3D with blender, Dimension, Unity and Unreal Engine before but I'm still very new to this new media.

So we learnt about vectory, a website where you can make 3D designs. I've never heard of but it was interesting to explore, since it's like a combination of blender and dimension. And of course blender tend to be crazy sometime so with vectory there were a few advantages that I found such as it was much easier to combine the shapes together or even to group them together.

This is what I did with vectory, as you can see there's a really annoying watermark on my scene with is very unfortunate since it was quite good and easier to use. However the render quality is so much low compared to blender and dimension. Therefore I might stick to blender when it comes to 3D.

After this workshop we were shown a quick workshop on how to build a game quickly using Unity, which was interesting however we didn't participate in this part since Unity is a heavy software and it would have taken time for us to download it and import the assets.

Basically we learnt the simplest way of making a game on Unity by simply dragging some free assets from the Unity store into our game without having to write any code, however we were suggested to check the C# coding language if we wanted to go deeper with Unity.

That was just very interesting especially since I did try that before, and I truly believe that we can come up with a more immersive experience if we uses Unity as a Graphic Design tool. In the right context of course, it might enhance our project.
