After my first review for the envisioned piece I decided that I will actually need to find some techniques that I could perhaps use for this project.

As always I went on Youtube to see some traditional art since I was sure that from there I would find something spiritual and that I can use for my envisioned piece.

I looked into techniques used in various cultures I know, I however, also looked into wood engraving, since I found that engraving was frequently used in most religions mostly as a decorative item, decorative crucifix for Christians and decorative walls in a Mosque and so on.

I also came across wood carving which reminded me of a culture we the eastern society tends to forget the American Indians Totems.

I did some research and found out that sometimes they have single Totems, other times its a totem pole which usually displays the story of a linage or battles as well as engraved totems. All totems however has the drawing of an animal drawn in a creative and mysterious manner, since the Native American believed in animalism. Animalism is a believe whereby each person has a spiritual guide in the form of an animal which he doesn't choose but is just simply assigned from the universe and there are ways to find one's animal spirit.

This idea was actually my last idea within this batch so it's still extremely under developed.

The following is another idea whereby I decided to combine pottery and a painting method I found in one of the video from the links above from India.

Basically the appropriate result will be as such.

Actually there's 2 more development in this idea, if you look on the left hand side at the bottom this is the first development where I realized I could extend the length of the colors to add more information on the design.

Furthermore, the one on the right bottom is yet another development where this time I added texture to represent more details, rounded texture and circles as well as the following texture:

However after reflection the idea with the textures might need some revision since it might not be so accurate.

The vases were chosen since people uses it to light their incense in it. Thereby I tried to make it more interactive by adding colored sticks which would represent the scale of satisfaction and there will be an empty vase since I missed the details for the non-believers and therefore this idea was supposed to offer me with that missing information.

These are my rough notes but basically the important information there is at the bottom the possible combination of techniques I could use to make it.

For this time I've gotten some quite fine reviews however, I was told that perhaps these techniques might be hard for me to learn since it requires a lot of practice and I was told to try and find easier techniques and I've decided to come up with more sketches but also some tryouts if possible for next time.
