Well well... this subject isn't within the Inti BGDSHU program which might feel odd since so far I kept this blog just for my main. However, I did like the direction of this project and I think I can use it's knowledge within my Graphic design career.
My group was called 'You Are Not Alone' and we were suppose to make an organization who will sell something and earn money for victims of domestic violence in Malaysia. We had to find our own sponsorships and we also had a partner 'StandUp Malaysia' for whom we had to design a slide for an event they would be doing with Inti's online platform Blackboard Collab.
I did a few other roles beside being in the design team I was also the vice leader of the group and came up with the concept. I'm going to share some of the social media post I created.
Here's the concept behind the idea of the organization and also the logo.
Since we focused on giving women support I decided that the organization must participate in some events dedicated to women and domestic violence by releasing a few posters on that day.
This was one of my suggestion for the international day against Female Genital Mutilation, it was too gore and they rejected it. Yes I know the color of the blood on the right isn't good but it was still a suggestion, so I didn't perfectioned it yet.
This is the chosen design in the end along with other Facebook posters for different events and to advertise our sponsorship and how to donate to our cause.
We had to be selling something to earn the donations so I came up with the idea of a calendar along with the other leader. Because of covid we couldn't make something bigger and it would be troublesome to ship the gifts if we had to because of our subjects. Therefore we would provide them with this digital design which they can print and color when they donated.
I took some shot of the printed design with the colors on to be used as a post to advertise it.
Here's our intagram posts and some screenshots:
We used the instagrid a lot to make our profile look professional. Even the other post the other student has been working on to keep it active followed our identity.
Here's a few of the post that the facebook team posted and they also had a video
The video is a 100% original and with both the video and the other social media posts, except those advertising us and posted for some international day, we used some information we gathered during a survey we did.
