Personality Tests & Questionnaire

We were given a questionnaire where there were 4 different personality tests and I actually did all of them.

This one was quite interesting cuz I believe it got a few things right such as the way I try to fix things, or the way I like the idea of empathizing, funny cuz the previous post on the ikigai I talked about that there too. I really also like the idea of connecting with people and helping whoever I can with design. Another thing that it got right was how I like doing works that aligns to my values or how I always try to find meaning in any work.

This one got a couple of things right too. I like thinking that there's many ways to solve one problem and I choose the one that I deemed the best one. I often base myself on experiences when I'm developing a concept and I like exploring ideas and find joy when I can relate my work to the data I obtained.

Again this one starts with the idea of empathizing but it also includes the thing about interpretation and symbolism. Most of my previous work had some interpretation or symbolism behind them. It also states how an innovator would be an ideal collaborator which is funny cuz last sem when I was designing my brand identity I did add the idea of innovation there.

This one.... well... I didn't like this personality test at all lol. It was all over the place, I had to choose what painting I had in my house when I possessed none, or I had to select a designer as my design hero when none from the list were my design hero, and not even close to it. It also had silly questions such as when do I like to have sex. As if my sexual life would define my design practice.



Anyway here's my answer, I didn't bother answering all of them. Basically I was a new form of designer. But I didn't see a relation with the other type of designers on the list neither.



This one is the questionnaire we've been offered with. we had to fill up the first section for this week. Basically I realized that I was quite good at each aspects except perhaps for the knowledge about politics, marketing and business part, since I wasn't much expose to it. But I believe once working in a firm the understanding of these fields will come naturally.


I would also add that I like interactive design but I remember struggling with it when I attempted it, but in the end it's my favorite form of design.


I also try to work consistently throughout all of my projects but sometime do struggle tho. I remember last sem I sacrificed one project to fully work on the other. However, I was able to meet the deadline for both tho.
