We were given a brief about anthropometrics and ergonomics then an article to read about wayfinding system how it work then we were divided into groups of Interior Design Students sem 1 and 2 and Graphic Design Students sem 1 and 2 and each group were given a zone to study. My group got the Kindergarten as our zone, and we did the follow using all the information we got from the lecturers and the articles.

This isn't a map though it looks like one, we have actually design a whole layer out for a kindergarten with the signage and applying the wayfinding system.

We decided that since the children are still unknowledgeable they won't know how to relate to a map, well this example is pretty simple but on a larger scale it will be an issue, so we thought of using colors and signs we will help them to reach their desired destination (toilet, canteen, classes and music room)

Since the kids are short we decided that all the signs will be on the floor, relating to our anthropometrics and ergonomic data.

We use pink for girls and blue for boys to indicate the direction to the toilet for each sexes and we thought that perhaps the music room would be the favorite room of the children so we did it with yellow.

To be honest there was no actual reason for our choice for the color we use for the class room and the canteen and it was actually the complain that we had from the lecturers while presenting, that just like for the music room and the toilet, there should be a reason behind the choice of color for the rest.
