This is actually for a new project which is best on ourselves as design we were given a lecture to help us to better identify our believes and preferences.

To do so we were given a series of questions like, What do we like? What are the things we are good at? What do we believe in?

These were my answers for each question;

Question 1:

  1. Music

  2. Art

  3. Writing

  4. Reading

  5. Space

  6. Cosmos

Question 2:

  1. Art

  2. Dreaming

  3. Talking

  4. Writing

  5. Creating

Question 3:

  1. I believe in believe itself

  2. The insubstantial is the true beauty

  3. Materia Prima

And I had to find a relation between each points

I found some relation between Art from what I like and what I'm good at and same goes for Writing

I furthermore links both to Materia Prima in what I believe in since Materia Prima is the material that you obtain after going through all the 7 alchemical processes, which is considered to be the purest material of the universe and it basically symbolizes the art of changing yourself. While writing and doing art I always feel as if I'm changing myself, discovering new concepts and changing my believes.

After some further reflection I realizes that my main topic was about flexibility.

The last faded writing down there was given to us to help us identify our believes, I already had mine but I tried it anyway just to see it.

We were given points such as character, emotion, thinking and important.

I started exploring more from this field, all of my believes that relates to flexibility.

There's my spiritual believes which plays a really great role in that and personal experiences like adapting here in Malaysia which required some flexibility.

These are the following Spiritual believes that lead me to flexibility.

The Kundalini which basically requires to work with 2 different pole illustrated by Ida and Pingala to ascend through the shakras, which represent various human emotions, both good and bad.

The 7 process of alchemy which is based on reforming something, either a material or your own sould to lead to the Materia Prima which is considered as the purest form.

The 7 principles of Alchemy/Hermeticism, the big letters are the principles I'm more interested in. But the red one is the one I wanna emphasize more since it basically translates to the fact that the universe is what you want it to be, therefore it's malleable, and since our believes changes over time, our perception on the universe changes as well and thereby ourselves changes.

There's also the knowledge from the Kabalah, from the Jewish Mysthicism believes. It's purpose is to understand the world we live in physically and spiritually and it comes from the concept that we are made from a part of God, and thereby we are equal to God. There's many interpretation to it some claiming that if you unveil it's mysteries you'll be able to control the world other, more basic such as it is just to better understand ourselves as human beings and from this I believe that if you better understand yourselves you'll be able to master yourselves more accurately.

There's also the concept of Creatio Ex Nihilo which is from latin and translate to creation from nothing, and it's a concept use in science, religion, mythologies when it comes to the creation of all things since the universe was believed to be created from nothing and so is life here on earth, considering the creation of the first cell which was formed from tiny particles.

From this concept I've derived my believed on the fact of as shapeless as the void and how we should treasure this instead of trying to shape ourselves and become part of a culture or a mode.

From these concepts I've derived all my believes and philosophies.

  1. The first point which relates to the hermetical principle of the mind, as explained above, how the world changes and I've related this to adapting.

  2. Understanding which comes mainly from the Kabalah but also the Kundalini since they could both be used to better understand oneself.

  3. The concept of control which comes mostly from Alchemy, and it's 7 processes on how to mold oneself into a desired personality.

  4. The self acceptance which comes from the concept that I've derived from 'creatio ex nihilo'

I've also realized how all of these relates to the fact that one should what he will, and therefore I've added this quote from Aleister Crowley.

After the tuto with the lecturer whereby I've presented her all of my concept and tried to explain as accurately as I could, I was told to use the concept and quote of "All is mind, the Universe is Mental" as my main point since all of the 4 points, understanding, adapting, control and self acceptance all relates back to this concept how one can adapt, understand, control and accept the ever changing world along with his own personality.

Along with the fact that I should perhaps find a better way to express these idea rather than using simple words such as understanding..etc since they can be interpreted in various other ways.
