For this activity we were asked to made any type of drawing from simply a red dot.
The drawings withing the yellow boundary were my first ideas, straight forward, simply red dots.
Then we've been given a briefing and we were asked to draw some more.
The drawings within the green boundaries were my second ideas.
At this stage we've been told, what could we come up with if we had some flexibility, even though at the very beginning we haven't been given any restriction as such.
The idea here is to use the red dot, while not literally using it, such as the punching ball after being punched, the rain of blood which when you think is simply an elongated red dot.
Lastly we've been told to take a look on our friends work and again draw some more.
The drawings within the blue boundaries are my third ideas.
So there were different students doing totally different things, such as the one with the patterns of red dots which form a shape, and others like the dusk/dawn drawing, which was a dot cut in half.
This exercise was in fact really interesting because it depicts how through communication one may gain information and ideas.
Another thing that I enjoyed was that, how at the every beginning we had these possibilities, yet because we've been told to use the dot our mind was always directed towards circular shapes or objects.
