I’ve been researching a lot on VR games, how to make it work with the least amount of expenditures, just using the Google Cardboard and an android phone.
Here’s a few tutorial I’ve watched, and I’ll also show what I did in unity too;
in this video he talks about this idea and show how to do the game using the build-in commands in “Unity”
But when I did it, after the various updates on Unity they’ve removed this package and when I finally got my hands on it they’ve apparently change the input, because it wasn’t working and I’ve heard that Unity is constantly being updated.
Then I tried this one with a few issues as well. So I started learning the very basics
From these 2 tutorials I was able to obtain some results, as shown here;
I did a very simple command from the video
And as you can see I can use my mouse to look up and down now
This one gave me the opportunity to create an even cheaper experience because I could make my experience without the use of a joystick to wander around the map.
Before exploring further with the software I had a tutorial with my lecturer just to be sure that I’m on the right track.
The feedback that I obtained was that the VR is a great idea, but it doesn’t really relates to the concept of ads, because the experience is more ‘physical’ somehow, and ads are mostly on web and psychological, so she suggested me to look into Adobe XD and learn how to make a web interface.
I’ve finally chosen to try to imitate YouTube, cause it’s where everybody spends their time nowadays and where most ads are located, either in the form of a pop-up, poster, or an ‘unskipabe’ video before and in between every video especially on android.
Some ads on the main page Some ads displayed just under Well, This one is just due to
before clicking the video the selected video Covid, but I've shared it anyway
