I've been told to upload my work progress more since last semester and there we go.

So, since sugar is such a broad theme, a group of other students and I have decide to apply what we've learnt at school together and try to find a concept for each of us, a group work so that to sort of boost ourselves.

We made our research works on our own of course, some general knowledge about sugar and we made a brain storming of questions just like the one we did in class sharing and question each others findings.

we obtained a lot of weird questions of course like usual but still interesting like in this one, I like that question about how sugar sounds in different languages and the one about animals.

From this one I enjoy this question about the trading and the sugar industry, will there be a trade link if we haven't have found out about sugar.

In this one I enjoy the question of how sugar taste to us in different atmosphere.

There's a few other interesting questions here and there but you've probably got the idea.

From the different ideas I've obtained I've made some further research.

My first analysis was somehow based on sugar and language, using sugar more like an interpretation to describe addiction. So I've focused myself on the vices since us man kind seems to be really directed towards them for some 'Sweetness' in our lives in hours of darkness.

I also wanted to relate sweetness with an addiction with sex, trying to represent like a torment through something pleasurable.

During the tutorial I've been told that the theme of addiction is a common theme and that I've pushed myself too far from the main theme, Sugar, since I've explore how addiction can affect people and how it can these bad habits can have a positive effect on us. In my research I've mentioned sports as a mean to get rid of aggressivity, but the lecturer suggested me to investigate on how sugar is used in sports or how it affects the athletes.

This is my second idea based on animals and a few research I made on taste, I've pushed it further, trying to picture a world where man wouldn't be able to taste sweet and try to think of the possible result on the world as if for example in design itself, sweet is related to pastel colors, since it's a world without sweets, would it be a world without anyone being attracted to these colors and since sweet is related to comfort would we be still interested in trying to make beautiful designs and presentations of our dishes.

The lecturer has found this idea interesting also, she suggested me to work on a story based on a person who can't taste and how it affects him.

I've found a psychologist, who had an interesting study on how sound can affect our taste so I've decided to include this as well, but it's not a well developed concept yet, the lecturer found this idea interesting as well, she suggested me to further research on this idea as well and elaborate on it if I wanna choose it.

After some reflection I've that for the animation, working on the second idea would be more interesting but I still wanna investigate more, especially on the 3rd concept since I'm such an addict of music (lol)

So perhaps if I find some interesting ideas I would work on the idea of taste for the experimental map of next semester.
